Hot-Steam® IRS Series iron shoes are made of lightweight aluminum alloy coated with a layer of industrial grade PTFE baked on. Since they are not glue on, it will not bubble up. The PTFE material is smooth and slippery reducing operator fatigue. Your iron will never scorch or stick even to the most delicate or hard to press fabrics.
